Eric Bissell – Paleo Hebrew

A friend of mine has recently brought this gentleman to my attention, and I want to take this opportunity to help him spread the word! Eric Bissell is just an ordinary Joe who the Father has blessed with tremendous insight into the original language of Paleo Hebrew, which the modern Hebrew script evolved from. Basically, the Paleo script is a bunch of pictures that represent ideas, similar to Egyptian hieroglyphics. This 10 minute video is just an introduction to who Eric is, and what he does. He has almost 60 hours of seminars available on Youtube HERE.

Enjoy the video, and check out his stuff! He is truly blessed by Yahweh!

Noah: Could He Eat All Things?

Clearly the Word of God stands forever.  It is the same yesterday, today, and forever. But then we read in English translations of Genesis chapter 9 verse 3 that something odd appears to be happening regarding the definition and permissions of food.  Because some like to use this verse to suggest that the Word of God can change, we need to fully examine this verse and discover the truth.  We need to test everything.

Is Jesus Yahweh?

One of the most debated topics within the Torah-pursuant Body of Messiah these days is whether or not Yeshua (Jesus) was actually divine, or just a very special guy that was filled with the Holy Spirit. Many folks, in their rush to dismantle the logically impossible Trinity doctrine, decide to throw out the deity of Jesus entirely, marking it as a relic of Greek polytheism that infiltrated the church around the 4th century. There is some merit to this line of reasoning, and I am certainly no defender of the Trinity hypothesis (yes, Hastings Dictionary of the Bible defines the Trinity doctrine as a “hypothesis” that is “not demonstrable by logical or Scriptural proof”. But that’s another article entirely). However, I believe that this approach fails to take into account some very critical Scriptures. After spending a good deal of time researching and studying this topic, I would like to submit my personal conclusions on the matter. Perhaps someone will find it edifying and helpful in their journey.

First of all, let’s start with my premise. I believe that Jesus is indeed divine. Scripturally, I can’t see any way around that. However, where I differ majorly from Trinitarians and even Unitarians/Oneness groups is that I don’t see Jesus as either the second person of a trinity floating around in God’s head, nor do I view Him as the exact same being as the Father with a different name. Some of you may be thinking, “Well heck, what other option is there?” I’m glad you asked. Let us work through some Scriptures together and use some logic along the way.

In Scripture and ancient Eastern culture, the right arm/hand was a symbol of power and authority. To state that someone was your “right arm” was basically giving them the same authority that you had, and empowering them to speak and act on your behalf. It was especially common for kings to delegate authority in this manner. With this in mind, let’s look at some key Scriptures to see if they give us any clues about the ultimate identity of Jesus. All of them are speaking directly of Messiah:

Mark 12:36  For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Matthew 26:64  Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Mark 16:19  So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Acts 2:33  Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Acts 5:31  Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 7:55  But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

Acts 7:56  And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Romans 8:34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

There are many more. This is only about half of the verses that directly refer to Jesus being at/on the right hand of the Father, YHWH. An interesting note here is that the Greek word translated “at” or “on” in these verses is the preposition ex. It can also be rendered “out from”, “by”, “from” or “out among from” in English. This will become important in just a moment.

With all these verses fresh in our minds, allow me to bring you to my conclusion with a final verse. This one blew my mind.

Isaiah 52:10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

The Hebrew word translated “arm” in this verse is zeroaw, which literally means “the stretched out arm of mighty power”.  As we discovered earlier, the arm that was associated with power and strength throughout Scripture is the RIGHT arm. The Hebrew word for “salvation” in this verse is yeshua; Yeshua is also the Hebrew name for Jesus, and is His real name. This should be causing bells to go off in your head right now. Combine this with the verses we just saw in Acts, Romans, etc. and we have the picture of Jesus in a state of being “out from/by/of” the Father, as if He were a part of Him.

So, to put all the pieces together, these Scriptures tell us that YHWH our God has bared his holy, stretched out arm of mighty power to reveal Yeshua, our salvation, to the entire earth, sent Him forth from within Himself and gave Him all the power and authority of YHWH!

Wow. Simply amazing. When I saw this for the first time, my heart leaped for joy. Our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) is most assuredly divine; He is in fact, the Right Arm of YHWH, who is revealed to give salvation to the entire world.

Praise God! May you be blessed by these Scriptures as much as I have been.

Law and Grace for Dummies

This is the clearest, simplest video I’ve ever seen that describes what the Bible says about God’s grace and God’s Law/Torah. If you can’t follow this simple logical train of thought and agree with it, then you shouldn’t be debating either grace or law with anyone.

Sacrifices in the Backyard?

Many times when a Christian tells a fellow believer “I believe the whole Word of God is valid for today, and no commandments have been abolished”, the immediate response is “Well why aren’t you sacrificing animals in your backyard, huh?”. This short video deals with that fallacious argument, and demonstrates from Scripture why such arguments are invalid and are merely attempts to get out of the responsibility to obey God’s commandments.

What About Headcoverings?

What do the Scriptures really say about headcoverings? Does Paul have the authority to invent new commandments? Or was he writing a letter to specific people to deal with a specific problem? Watch the latest from 119 Ministries to find out the answer to this very misunderstood topic.

Testimony: Barren Womb Opened!

If this testimony does not move you to tears at how awesome our God is, then nothing will. For years, this young woman was afflicted with a disease of the womb called endometriosis. The doctors told her it was incurable, but the Great Physician had something else to say about it. This couple decided to step out in faith and follow God’s Instructions, and He blessed them for it.
